Cranial Sacral Therapy and Myofascial Release with Wingate Paine
Wingate Paine III, LMT, is a highly skilled manual therapist specializing in Cranial Sacral Therapy and Myofascial Release. He also incorporates masterful energetic healing into his work, as healing is a multi-dimensional journey. Clients regularly feel a strong flow of energy moving through and around their body while working with Wingate. The goal of his work is to release barriers which undermine the body’s capacity to heal itself. The alleviation of chronic tension within the body is common way this is accomplished. The reason this is so effective is that the alleviation of tension unburdens the nervous system of chaotic information, while also increasing circulation and promoting structural alignment. Wingate’s work is incredibly complementary to chiropractic care, especially for those carrying too much tension to be adjusted comfortably, and helps to maintain the benefits of an adjustment by reducing tensions that lead to repeated misalignment in the body. Clients struggling with chronic illness also regularly experience powerful integration from Wingate’s work and can experience the “jump-start” they’ve been searching for to feel as is things are flowing once again.
Wingate has helped many clients who have suffered from old injuries, chronic illness and trauma breakthrough to new levels of wellbeing and vitality. The tension, energy and alignment throughout our bodies can have profound impacts on our abilities to heal. For those struggling to achieve health and wellbeing in the midst of much dedicated effort, this kind of hands-on healing worth can be what’s missing. Whether it is the promotion of circulation to help with detoxification, the alignment of bones through fascial release which optimizes nerve function, or harmonization of tension which supports parasympathetic nervous system function, surprisingly complex health challenges can be powerfully addressed by integrating this work into your healing approach. Wingate also excels at resolving longstanding issues with chronic headaches and migraines, chronic knee pain, sciatic pain, back pain, neck pain, carpal-tunnel syndrome, stagnant liver-gallbladder conditions, whiplash trauma, concussions, TBI, PTSD, and chronic anxiety.
The body is designed to heal and release unhelpful tension when touched with firm but gentle pressure for many seconds to a few minutes. When done correctly, this approach yields tremendous results and can lead to sudden breakthroughs in difficult health challenges. This is referred to as unwinding and used to commonly practiced as Osteopathy, or doctorate level soft-tissue work. Various special interests eroded this body of work and replaced hands on healing with pharmaceutical medication. Hopefully this profoundly effective approach to healing will re-emerge into the public awareness, where it was once healing so many more individuals than it is nowadays.
While the arc of treatment varies from client to client, most individuals feel a significant sustained shift in their symptoms after 1 or 2 sessions. The goal of this work is to resolve painful symptoms of trauma and pain so treatment is no longer required. This work is profoundly integrating and can be a useful regular tuneup to account for the stresses of the world, but the goal is be working on new issues or promoting profound wellness as robustly as possible. This is unique from many current methods of medical treatment which seek to extend care and increase repeat consumption of services and products. Wingate is uniquely driven to find solutions to the health challenges clients are dealing with and deliver results that are satisfying, profound and durable. This commitment is fueled by an understanding that we often stop growing emotionally and spiritually when we are suffering too greatly, as well as a belief that we are here to grow and awaken.
With a diploma in Polarity Therapy from the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts, Massage Therapy Training from Parker University and extensive post-graduate training in many other advanced manual and shamanic modalities, Wingate has spent years refining his approach to hands-on healing. His work is centered on releasing restrictions held in the body's fascial and spinal systems—two deeply interconnected networks that influence structural integrity, nervous system function, and overall well-being. At the end of the day, healing is an internal process. Most therapies seek to liberate the ways in which this process becomes stalled or inefficient during sickness or injury. Reducing unhealthy levels of muscular tension, increasing circulation and promoting structural alignment helps increase the efficiency of the body’s ability to heal itself. Supporting these three very important metrics of health can yield tremendously surprising and joyful results.
How His Approach Works:
* Myofascial Release (MFR) targets the body’s connective tissue, or fascia, which can become tight and restricted due to injury, stress, or poor posture. By gently engaging the fascia and allowing it to soften and unwind, Myofascial Release restores mobility, reduces pain, and enhances the body's natural alignment.
* Cranial sacral therapy works by gently releasing tension around the the head, neck, spine and pelvis. This subtle yet powerful technique helps release deep-seated restrictions in the nervous system, allowing for profound relaxation, improved neurological function, increased circulation to the brain, and relief from headaches, migraines, head injuries, concussions, TBI and chronic stress patterns.
* Synergistic Healing – By integrating these approaches, Wingate’s work addresses both structural imbalances and the nervous system’s regulation, making it particularly effective for individuals with chronic pain, postural dysfunctions, stress-related conditions, and unresolved physical or emotional trauma. Most clients experience significant reductions in pain and tension within 1 or 2 sessions, as the body naturally reorganizes and restores itself.
What to Expect in a Session:
Sessions are conducted with the client fully clothed in a calming environment, with a focus on the head, neck, back, and spine—key areas where restrictions often accumulate. Wingate use’s both a massage table and a Thai massage mat, as each offers different levels of tissue engagement. Clients can choose which approach to experience and also learn more about the benefits of each approach if they have questions. The work is gentle yet deeply effective, engaging the body's self-healing mechanisms to bring about lasting changes.
Wingate sees clients at his office at 100% Chiropractic in North Frisco, at his office in Mansfield once a week at Strong on Health and also offers house calls throughout the North Metroplex on a limited basis. Sessions are typically 60 or 90 minutes and cost $150 per hour. Longer sessions are available and can be helpful for those with more complex issues, as a deeper dive in a more concentrated application can be needed to create a desired shift towards health more quickly. Beginning with a 90 minute session is strongly suggested in all cases.
For those seeking relief from chronic pain, stress, or long-held tension patterns, Wingate’s expertise offers a deeply restorative and transformative approach to healing. Those who have had difficulty finding relief from chronic pain and emotional trauma often experience meaningful breakthroughs and resolution after working with Wingate.

While traditional massage works on muscles for temporary relaxation, our approach targets the deeper fascial system and nervous system to create lasting structural changes. Instead of repetitive strokes, we use sustained gentle pressure to release restrictions at their source—which is why most clients experience significant relief in just 1-2 sessions rather than needing weekly appointments forever. Think of it as fixing the root cause versus managing symptoms: massage might help you feel better for a few days, but this work can resolve chronic pain, migraines, and old injury patterns permanently by addressing the underlying tensions and imbalances that create them in the first place.

Most people see noticeable improvements within 1-2 sessions.
